Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is an absurd one.
Since 1997, Canada has maintained a National Register of Electors that is used to produce lists of electors for federal elections and referendums. To evaluate the quality of the data in the Register, Elections Canada has contracted Circum Network Inc., assisted by Malatest and Associates Ltd., to conduct a data confirmation study. A sample of names was selected at random from the Register for participation in this study. While participation is voluntary, it would be very helpful in producing meaningful results.
If you have received a letter of invitation, please go to the Web address http://circum.com/ecen and use the access code indicated in the top right-hand corner of the letter to access the questionnaire no later than November 20, 2014.
The results will be used solely for the purposes of measuring and updating the accuracy of the information. The privacy of all information in the National Register of Electors is protected by the Canada Elections Act and the Privacy Act.
Your co-operation in helping us to maintain the accuracy of the National Register of Electors is very much appreciated. This is important to ensure that federal elections are administered effectively and efficiently. For further information, visit the Elections Canada Web site.
